I’m wondering if there has ever been a more important moment in human history to learn about self-ownership.

When we feel controlled, when we feel taken advantage of, when we feel helpless, when we feel wronged, when we feel damaged—we tell a story of our experience through the lens of victimization (e.g., bad genes, faulty brain chemicals, or even a broken medical system that’s harming us), and WE SUFFER.

But there’s a way out.

There’s a now well-worn path toward self-reclamation.

I’ve witnessed it in my own process and in that of the hundreds of individuals I’ve worked with directly and indirectly. Your life can shift within days… even from one thought to the next… but how?

I’ve tried to answer that question in my latest book, coming out with Hay House on 9.17.19, called—Own Your Self.

It’s something of a sequel to my first book (a grassroots bestseller), A Mind of Your Own, but with more information than ever before on our history-making protocol, and a manual for how to live an awakened life without fear of your body or your mind. It’s an owner’s manual.

This book is an in-depth exploration of where you are giving your power away—is it to your diagnosis? To your spouse? To your mom? Or to your morning coffee?…

…and how to take it back.

Self-discovery is the way to pull all that energy back in, harness it, and create a new life that is a true expression of who you really are and have always been beneath it all.

Because your Self-ownership is your most powerful and valuable contribution to this planet. Your freedom is all you’ve ever wanted, and it’s all I need from you. It’s all anyone needs from you. Put yourself first.

I’m learning to do this, and it has been the hardest work I’ve ever done, and it’s the exact same path I’ve watched my patients walk. It’s the journey home to Self.

When we first finished the book, it had a different title and a different cover. And, to be honest, it was still conveying adversarial activist energy. It was still fighting the “good” fight. But this book is about ending the war, starting with the war inside, so I know I had to show up differently to represent it.

To my surprise, the evolution called for my direct energetic participation in the cover and I had to move through a lot of resistance to that, but here’s a behind-the-scenes of my surrender ; ).

I also tried to childishly deflect the reading of the audiobook myself, which I ultimately chose to own as part of my commitment to this project and its authenticity (it’s amazing how hard breathing, talking, and circulating saliva can be!).

So here I am, offering you my Self-ownership as an imprint for what it can feel like. This book is what I have needed to learn and what I am practicing, and it turns out there is a universality to this maturational process. It feels, at turns, vulnerable, embarrassing, and confusing, but somehow also liberating, calm, strong, and right.

This is me. I own it. ALL OF IT. And it feels like a current of light moving through that is at once entirely my own, and also not mine at all.

I want to know what it feels like for you.

And I hope that you’ll join me and the growing community of light workers who are taking back their power, owning themselves, and getting clear on who they are and who they are not.
